Draw more traffic & drive your customer pay business with GM Accessories.

This promotion is designed to reward accessory sales performance in the service drive. Service Advisors who “ask for the sale” will earn points for select customer-pay GM Accessories sold in the service drive.

Enrolled Service Advisors, along with their Parts Managers, Service Managers, and BDC Managers will be eligible to receive earnPOWER points for the sale of select GM Accessory Remote Starts, Premium All-Weather Floor Liners, Molded Splash Guards, Emblems, Wheel Lock Kits, and select Electronics.

Program Requirements

For Q4 2016 we've added BDC Managers to the reward pool and we are now giving managers earnPOWER spins at specificed claim milestones. We've also added a mileage requirement to ensure claims are for returning customer vehicles, not new vehicle sales.

  • Vehicle must have at least 3,000 miles.
  • Vehicles must returning to the dealership on or after their initial service visit.
  • Service Advisors must have a valid GMIN# to receive earnPOWER points.
  • Dealer must be within the VIP ADI APR with accounts in good standing.
  • All claims received are subject to verification by the ADI.

Program Rewards

All enrolled Service Advisors will be eligible to receive earnPOWER points for themselves and their managers, with the sale of select GM Accessories.

Entries in the earnPOWER Service Drive Program are limited to 1 per VIN #. So you're eligible to earn points for the sale of select GM Accessories that are listed below in the tables.
Service Advisors will submit claims for sold packages using the form on this page. Entries will be tabulated weekly and Service Advisors will receive earnPOWER points within 10 days. Proper I-op codes must be entered in GM Global Warranty System for each installation before points can be awarded. Your TSM can assist you with this process if necessary.

Simply enroll and allow dealership Service Advisors to sell accessories and earn points. In turn, the dealership should see a significant increase in parts and service gross profit. The dealership should also consider taking advantage of our new bulk pricing program to stock up.

For the best results, the dealership may choose to run its own sales promotion including coupons, promotional pricing, etc. incorporating BDC involvement, print advertising, internet specials, and signs to significantly enhance service traffic during the promotional period.

Yes, but only if you want to make additional revenue. Keep in mind, the best way to assure a sale in the service drive is to have the accessory in stock at the time of the service appointment. For best results, you may want to limit products offered to the fast-moving Accessories stocked by your parts department. Parts and service departments should work together to assure that these items are always readily available.
